The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired at 11:59 p.m. EST on September 30, 2025. Military personnel will continue in a normal duty status without pay until such time as a continuing resolution or appropriations are passed by Congress and signed into law. Civilian personnel not engaged in excepted activities will be placed in a non-work, non-pay status.

During this partial government shutdown, the 4th Medical Group remains open and continues to honor scheduled medical and dental appointments. Our patient appointing service is open and we're still taking requests for appointments. We're doing our best to minimize impact on our beneficiaries and their health care. The clinic’s primary care, specialty care, and ancillary services (pharmacy, laboratory, radiology) remain operational. As always, safe, and high-quality health care remain our priority. Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT)

ADAPT provides comprehensive services to individuals, in coordination with their commands, who are experiencing problems attributed to substance abuse or misuse. ADAPT serves active duty personnel by offering assessment, intervention education, prevention / outreach, and rehabilitative services. ADAPT also offers Department of Defense employees, one-time assessments with referral resources if further care is required or requested. Information and referral resources are also offered to dependents and retirees.
